BEFORE YOU BOOK A SOLO STUDIO PLEASE READ THESE PROCEDURES AND CHECK THE BOX.
- Solo labs are only offered to students in Communication Studies production courses.
- Solo labs are very limited. For this reason only student who are not able to work from home can use them.
- Solo labs will be open from Monday to Friday with two blocks of time a day. Each block is for a 3 hours period. The morning block is from 09:00am to noon and the afternoon block is from 1pm to 4pm.
- Considering the limited number of solo labs and the disinfecting procedure, a student can only book one single block a day. No extensions will be given beyond the ending time of the selected block.
- Only one student per solo lab.
- A valid student ID is mandatory to access the solo labs.
- You must work from your own external hard drive.
- Any files stored on the department’s computer will be erased without notice.
- It is mandatory for students to book the solo labs at least 24 hours in advance on The Dépot web site (cjdepot.concordia.ca). Solo Lab booked Fridays after 3pm and on weekends will not be valid for the following Monday. A confirmation will be sent to the student.
- Please note that all students requiring the use of the edit labs will need to sign in and out with a Staff member.
- No food or drink will be tolerated inside the solo labs.
